School Street Surgery Opening Hours
Val our Practice Nurse is usually here:
Monday to Thursday 8.00am – 12.30pm
Monday and Tuesday 2.30pm – 5.00pm
Please remember to allow at least 72 hours (three working days) for repeat medication requests.
We do our best to keep these hours updated but due to staffing levels, as School Street Surgery is a branch surgery, with limited staffing, opening times may sometimes be subject to change at short notice. Please see notices on display at the surgery or ask our staff.
Our main surgery at Gold Street is open from 8.00am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday (7.00am on Mondays).
Please note that Gold Street Surgery will be closed from 1 pm to 3 pm on Tuesday, July 7 2020 for essential GP and staff training. If you have a medical problem which cannot wait, please visit NHS111 online or phone 111 if you cannot use a computer. Calls are free from landlines and mobiles.
There are also a limited number of telephone consultation slots between 6.30pm and 7.00pm Tuesday to Friday. Please ask the receptionist.
If you are confronted by a serious urgent problem such as acute chest pain, possible broken bones or severe bleeding, go to your nearest Accident and emergency department or call an ambulance (telephone 999) at your discretion.
