Gold Street Surgery will close as usual at 6.30 pm  on Tuesday, December 24 and reopen at 8.00 am on Friday December 27. The surgery will also close as usual at 6.30 pm on Tuesday, December 31, and reopen at 8.00 am on Thursday, January 2.

School Street Surgery will be open as usual from 8.00 am until 1.00 pm on Tuesday, December 24, and remain closed until 8.00 am on Monday, December 30. The surgery will close as usual at 1.00 pm on Tuesday, December 31 and reopen at 8.00 am on Thursday, January 2. The main surgery telephone number, 01799 525325 will remain open until 6.30 pm as usual.

While the surgery is closed, if you need medical advice, please phone 111 (free call from mobiles and landlines) or dial 999 if you have a medical emergency, or visit the service online at 111.nhs.uk.

NHS111 is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. NHS111 includes the out-of-hours doctor service operated for West Essex GPs by Herts Urgent Care Ltd. If you are confronted by a serious medical problem such as acute chest pain, suspected broken bones, bad burns or severe bleeding, call an ambulance (telephone 999) or visit your nearest Accident and Emergency Centre at your discretion.
