Gold Street Surgery will close as usual at 6.30 pm  on Tuesday, December 31 and reopen at 8.00 am on Thursday January 2.

We are currently experiencing diffciulties with staff sickness at School Street Surgery, and we hope to reopen at 8.00 am on Thursday, January 2. Please contact the main surgery telephone number, 01799 525325 in case of any difficulty.

While the surgery is closed, if you need medical advice, please phone 111 (free call from mobiles and landlines) or dial 999 if you have a medical emergency, or visit the service online at 111.nhs.uk.

NHS111 is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. NHS111 includes the out-of-hours doctor service operated for West Essex GPs by Herts Urgent Care Ltd. If you are confronted by a serious medical problem such as acute chest pain, suspected broken bones, bad burns or severe bleeding, call an ambulance (telephone 999) or visit your nearest Accident and Emergency Centre at your discretion.
