Parking at Gold Street
Posted or Updated on 14 Oct 2024
Please be aware that the very limited parking at Gold Street Surgery is intended for Doctors and staff, and for patients with mobiliy issues while attending the surgery.
We are fortunate to have many more visiting clinicians, such as specialist practitioners, physiotherapists and clinical pharmacists providing clinics at the surgery, but this puts more pressure on our limited parking and means staff frequently have to block vehicles in. If you do park at the surgery, you may have to wait until a Clinician has finished their current patient appointment before they can let you out. Delivery vehicles, ambulances, patient transports and other vehicles may also cause obstructions.
Please help us by not using the surgery car park unless you have mobility restrictions, and leaving promptly afterwards. The surgery is next to Waitrose (Fairycroft Road) public car park with almost 300 spaces. Access is via a footpath from the lower ground floor of the car park (shop entrance level) leading to the side of the surgery building, and there is a lift to the upper floors.
Parking is strictly at your own risk and the surgery can accept no responsibility for any damage or loss however caused. Please be aware of moving vehicles in the parking area and the possibility of ice/ slip hazards in cold weather.
